Thanksgiving 2019

I am thankful I got to work Thanksgiving at the hospital.
Patients made turkey and leaf decorations.
We played a turkey toss game with a roast-looking paper bag and balled paper.
We wrote out what we're thankful for on leaves.
And of course there was a delicious lunch. Dietary also made us pies for a pie social with family in the afternoon during visiting hours.

You're Welcome Giving

The turkey... so noble, so patriotic. Our national bird. Well, he would have been if Benjamin Franklin had had his way. This is one of the many fun facts we read about during Turkey Day. We also took pictures as turkeys and made decorations on cups using a cutout and feathers of choice. The dietary staff cooked Thanksgiving food for both lunch and dinner. No wonder the next day we celebrated "You're Welcome Giving".
